Dutch Cuisine

Due to the fishing and farming industries that are great in Netherland, the Dutch cuisine is somehow affected, by using a large number of fish and vegetables rather than other ingredients. The using of cheese and chocolate as the major ingredients is also common with large number of dairy products from abundant farms in Netherland. If it is compared to the other Northern European countries cuisines, the Dutch cuisine is limited in varieties and they use more vegetables rather than meat as other countries do.

Indonesian Cuisine

It will be hard to mention the Indonesian cuisine, since the nation itself consists of so many islands that bring different and unique culture and cuisine. Yet, there are some popular Indonesian cuisines that now common across Asia, such as satay, beef rending, and sambal, as well as the tahu and tempe as the soy-based dishes.

Most of the dishes can be eaten with fork in the left hand and spoon in the right one, yet, there are also some dishes that are especially served to be eaten using bare hand, such as pecel lele (catfish with sambal or chili sauce), as well as ayam goreng or the fried chicken. The serving of these dishes is completed with kobokan, a bowl of tap water to wash hands after and before we eat the dishes.

Italian Cuisine

The Italian cuisine is maybe one of the most popular cuisines that become the favorite of so many people in the world, with its most famous cuisine such as pizzas, spaghetti, and tiramisu. The major part of Italian cuisine will be tomatoes, potatoes, bell peppers, and maize. Coffee, especially espresso, is also important in Italian dishes.

The ingredients that are used in Italian cuisine are various; with different regions, that uses different recipes. The Northern part of Italy uses a large number of fish, potatoes, rice, maize, corn, sausages, pork, and a large number of cheese varieties. Unlike the Northern part, that virtually does not use many tomatoes; the Central Italy uses it widely, with ham, sausage, bresaola, salami, truffles, lasagna, and tortellini.
